Another Tragic End!

What a terribly sad end to the life of Darren Sutherland. Darren was a wonderful boxer and an Olympic medal-winner, a national hero in Ireland and starting out to climb the ranks as a professional boxer which he no doubt would have achieved. No amount of speculation will ever explain that which only Darren could tell. If only there was someone there!! I hope the British Boxing Association, who are doing a fantastic job representing boxers and families might consider the introduction of a service that is available to boxers in times of need. Our sincere condolences to Darren’s family and friends.
