Community Liaison Executives, North/South, Competitive Salary, Company Car, Benefits

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) is the world’s longest established sportsperson’s union and looks after more members, past and present, than any other similar organisation. The PFA has been instrumental in developing Community partnerships at Clubs for over 21 years promoting social responsibility and is a key funding partner in this area of work through the Premier League / PFA Community Fund and Football League Trust.

Player involvement in enhancing Community and Charity initiatives in Health, Education, Social Inclusion, and Equalities, is central to our work, along with furnishing members with the Educational ’tools’ to prepare them for life after Football. The PFA are therefore looking to recruit two dynamic individuals to further its work in these areas.



Reporting to the Head of Community, the successful candidates will be responsible for:

* Raising awareness of the pivotal role of PFA members in enhancing Community and Charitable initiatives.

* Conducting meetings with players and Club officials to inform/guide/support them in both Community and Education initiatives.

* Representing the PFA at meetings to further its policies and corporate social responsibility agenda.



The successful candidates will have:

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* The ability to formulate new and innovative ideas in Community and Education work.

* The ability to work with players, managers, and football club personnel.

* The ability to work individually and also as part of a team.

* A current driving Licence.



The successful candidates ideally will have:

* At least 5 years Management experience in Community and Education programmes.

* An understanding of the CSR agenda in the Professional game.

* Experience in collating data, analysing activities, and target setting.
