PBA President, Barry McGuigan, recently attended the Educational Sports Forum, at Warwick University. Barry spoke about the importance of education to boxers and their families and how membership of the ESF has played a crucial role in the development of the PBA.

"We know only too well how crucially important education and training is to the personal development of boxers and everyone who uses the gym, be they amateur or professional and we know also that we could not have done that on our own.

Being an affiliate member of the ESF has been significant in our own development and reciprocally we intend to play our part in the work of the ESF for the future".
